O'Neil and Estrada continue the search for a cure for Ben Turner's poisoning in Richard Dragon, Kung-Fu Fighter 14 (March/April 1977), while Rich Buckler provides the Bruce Lee cover.
The story picks up directly from the end of the previous issue. Ben Turner is dying of an unknown poison, and Lady Shiva and Richard Dragon are looking at the smouldering wreckage of the helicopter carrying the poison's creator, the only man who knew the antidote.
By pure coincidence, they happen to be very close to a monastery that has been taken over by Dr. Moon, on the run since his last encounter with Richard Dragon. By another coincidence, Richard and Shiva run into Moon's men, who they recognize. By yet another coincidence, Richard's mentor, the O Sensei, happens to be being held captive by Moon. Moon has, as his secret weapon against Richard, a martial arts fighter trained by Bruce Lee.
Dragon and Shiva head for the monastery, but Shiva gets shot on the way there. Richard winds up fighting the Bruce Lee-trained guy, and the fight lasts for a long time. They turn out to be too evenly matched, and the fight ends in a draw. While the fight is going on the O Sensei manages to turn the tables on Dr. Moon, knocking him out.
The O Sensei also just happens to be a master of poisons and antidotes, so they bring him back to the US and he cures Ben. The characters still have no idea why people keep attacking the poor guy. Shiva refuses any treatment for her gunshot wound, although it doesn't seem to be bothering her much anyway.
Dr. Moon returns the following year to face Batman in Detective Comics.
